So has anyone *not* seen Avatar yet? I was supposed to see it last week, but no one told me to buy tickets ahead of time so I got left out (I didn't think it would be that crazy after two weeks).
I hear it's coming to imax soon; that'd be cool to see there. If anyone wants to go, let me know.

I just realized today that I had forgotten about Livejournal for a while. There seems to be a lack of posts from my friends recently, and I'm wondering how many of you still keep up with Livejournal (I'm pretty sure Bonnie, Marika, Steph, Bob, Juju and Liz do, but I'm not too sure about anyone else). I used to enjoy updating here (by "used to" I just mean that I haven't actually posted in 11 months), but if no one uses Livejournal anymore I might just use something else instead. So, who still keeps up with Livejournal?

I got a good laugh the other day going into a thrift clothing store. "Pre-loved clothes" was the line that got me. Seriously? Okay, so the clothes are second hand, "gently worn" as they say. I understand the usage of euphemisms, but sometimes it sounds so sugar coated that it becomes infantile.
So now I'm looking through the free section on kijiji and the depressing influx of free pets that have sprung up over the holidays, and I'm mentally appending "pre-loved" to every single ad.
